When we built Hotel Sovestro, we wanted our guests to enjoy a stay complete with every comfort. Over the years, we’ve added, improved and taken care of every detail, and that promise is still at the heart of everything we do today.

Two pools: freshwater and saltwater

Hotel Sovestro has two outdoor pools, always clean and well kept, for the ultimate in comfort.
The main pool is the larger of the two, fitted with sun loungers and umbrellas, and surrounded by a well-tended garden with chairs and benches.
The second pool is saltwater, smaller and more intimate, also set among the greenery.

During the day, our poolside bar service is open from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, for drinks and light meals alike. All you need to do is choose what to order and relax.

Hotel Sovestro is one of the few hotels with a pool in Tuscany where you’ll find all this against the backdrop of the Sienese hills, just minutes from San Gimignano and around an hour from Siena and Florence.

Hotel Sovestro has a large, free, video-monitored private car park, available to all guests, with a dedicated area for motorbikes as well.

For guests driving an electric car, the car park also offers a Type 2 charging point, part of our commitment to more sustainable hospitality.

Aside from the charging point, which comes at an additional cost and cannot be booked in advance, there are no other extra charges: parking is included in your stay.

Free Shuttle to San Gimignano

Finding parking in San Gimignano during high season can be difficult. That’s why we offer our guests a free shuttle connecting Hotel Sovestro to the historic centre, so you can enjoy your visit without worrying about anything else. Shuttle times are available at reception.

Prefer to walk into town? Via Vecchia starts just 30 metres from the hotel. It’s a scenic 20-minute walk through vineyards and olive groves, so you can enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

Our Restaurant Da Pode

We’re a family-run hotel with a restaurant in San Gimignano, where the values of eating together, and eating well, still come first. Restaurant Da Pode serves Tuscan cuisine made with local ingredients and recipes perfected over many years.

Da Pode is open for lunch and dinner every day except Thursday. Booking is recommended: the restaurant is also popular with guests from outside the hotel, and tables fill up quickly.
